About Me

I have been interested in photography and taking photos for over twenty years and have been using digital SLR cameras in the last few years to explore the wide range of benefits they offer in greater depth.

I enjoy the full spectrum of photography including portrait, wedding, commercial, event, landscape, travel and still life photography. The nature of my work means I have to be extremely versatile. I work mostly on location and use fully portable studio equipment where required.

Based in Watford, Hertfordshire, I also cover London and the home counties but will travel wherever required for commissions.

I always strive to get the images clients want, no matter how tough the conditions. I like to think I have a knack for putting people at ease with my sense of humour and enthusiasm.

Clients include individuals and families on the portrait side along with private and public sector organisations on the commercial side. I am concentrating more and more on modern lifestyle portraiture and this is an area that I am keen to expand. I write an online blog sharing my views and experiences on photography. It's a good place to see what I've been up to recently and new things that I have been trying out. I am an active member of my local photographic society (XRR) taking part in regular internal and external competitions. I am also currently undertaking preparation for the Licentiaship of the Royal Photographic Society.

I pride myself in taking a well thought out and creative approach to every shoot. Strong project management and the aim to continually exceed client expectations are the keys to my success.
